Sophia tester photos

August 4, 2017 By Jo England Leave a Comment

I had a recent request for some of the tester photos for our newly released Sophia top pattern. All of our fabulous tester photos are in the shop gallery, but I realised I hadn’t posted them all together in a blog post. So here they are!

I really enjoyed the testing phase of development for the Sophia top pattern. I was overwhelmed with applications, so I knew that was a good sign! These ladies were a highly creative bunch who made the Sophia their own. It’s such a flattering style in any size as you can see by the photos.

Ana makes anything look cool with her own unique style. She made up a size 8 sleeveless version in soft tropical pastels.

Sophia top

Anastasia really rocks it in this floral version. She made a size 12 sleeveless version in a pretty blue floral with a matching maroon cami with contrast blue lace.

Sophia top

Christianne made her Sophia look so fresh and ready for summer. She made a size 10 sleeveless version in a super soft jersey. Looks great with the white jeans.

Sophia top

Ilyn made hers in a stylish navy floral with a contrast cami. She made a size 16 in the sleeveless option.

Sophia top

Kaara made a gorgeous ivory Sophia with a matching lace cami. She made the size 20 in the sleeveless version.

Sophia top

Karen made hers in a stunning electric blue and a contrast purple cami. She made a size 8 in the long sleeve version.

Sophia top

Leanne is sure to brighten up a winter’s day with this floral long sleeve Sophia. She made the size 14 in the long sleeve option.

Sophia top

Raechel made her Sophia in a beautiful soft floral with contrast cami and lace. She made the size 12 in the sleeveless.

Sophia top

Raechel got creative and made a second top in a stripe with a soft transparent cotton over the top.

Sophia top

Rebecca made a size 12 in the sleeveless version. She used a gorgeous lightweight knit with a tie dye effect.

Sophia top

Susana made such a lovely feminine Sophia with this pink border print. She made the size 14 in the sleeveless option.

Sophia top

Theresa made a Sophia inspired by spring! I love the contrast blue and red cami underneath. She made a size 18 in the sleeveless option.

Sophia top

Tiffany made her Sophia for her daughter in a size 8. It looks very cool in this print, and especially with the rippped jeans!

Sophia top

Elaine made her Sophia in a pretty blue and white floral knit. She made a size 18 in the long sleeve option.

Sophia top

Jennifer made her sleeveless Sophia in a print featuring the planets in a size size 14. Quirkey and edgy!

Sophia top

Tracey made a long sleeve version out a pretty soft pastel knit. She made a size 20.

Sophia top

Sara made a size 14 long sleeve version in a lovely maroon knit, and a contrast white lace cami underneath.

Sophia top

The lovely Carmen made a very groovy Sophia in a bright summery print. She made the size 18 in the sleeveless.

Sophia top

Zulma made her Sophia in a mint green knit and contrasted it with a fresh white lace cami. She made the size 20 in the long sleeve version.

Sophia top

Chrisda made the long sleeve size 12 version in this happy bright red plain and contrast polka dot print.

Sophia top

Jenny made a flattering size 16 long sleeve version, all ready for fall.

Sophia top

We’ve had our best release yet with the Sophia top. Thanks to all our wonderful testers, who showed how versatile the Sophia pattern is, and how great it looks made up in such a variety of fabrics and colour combinations.

It took me a long while before I could touch them, but recently I decided to do something with them. I ended up making 4 cushions, one for myself and one of each of my 3 siblings. One half has mum’s knitted square, and the other half has a square I knitted. I loved how my knitting was so completely different from my Mums. She was such a neat knitter, while my squares are a bit loose and wonky. Love how they turned out. 💖
